Virtual dissemination on rapid assessments on COVID-19 impacts on children in Vietnam

Child Rights Working Group chaired by Save the Children is honored to be invited by UNICEF to join today’s virtual launch to announce key findings of the two reports - “Rapid Assessment on impacts of COVID-19 on children” (by CRWG) and “Rapid Assessment on the social and economic impacts of COVID-19 on children and families in Vietnam” (by UNICEF).

Global Girlhood Report 2020

On October 1st, Save the Children launches 'Global Girlhood Report’, the report looks at exclusion through the lens of gender and suggests solutions for a more equal world. Given that COVID has swept away what could have been a pivotal year for girls, the development community needs to work together to ensure that it is one of the priorities of national Governments.

Project “Strengthening Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE) for COVID-19” Closing Workshop

On 25 September, the Ministry of Health in collaboration with Save the Children organized the closing workshop for the project “Strengthening Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE) for COVID-19” under Breakthrough ACTION (BA), funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). About 80 representatives from the Ministry of Health, USAID, Save the Children, local partners from five targeted provinces (Son La, Yen Bai, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Can Tho) and other international organizations participated in this workshop.

Children’s Forum of District 10 – 2020

On September 16 and 18, the People's Committee of District 10, Ho Chi Minh City and Save the Children jointly organized “Children’s Forum of District 10 – 2020” with the participation of representatives from the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (DOLISA), leaders of the People's Council of District 10 and children representatives from five schools in the area.
