Save the Children organized "Positive Discipline in Everyday Parenting" (PDEP) training program in Hanoi & Ho Chi Minh City

"There must be another way to teach children other than to hit and scold them!"

This concern was raised and discussed with the participants of the PDEP facilitator training program - "Positive Discipline in Everyday Parenting" in February and March in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. Information about the research on children physical and mental punishment, the United Nation’s Convention on the Rights of the Child and the healthy development of children from 0 to 18 years old were also shared with over 50 facilitators.

Save the Children joins the celebration of the 30th Anniversary of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child #UNCRC30

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the CRC, public celebrations were organized in the walking street, Hoan Kiem lake during 16-17 November with the official ceremony this evening. Proud to be part of the celebration events this weekend in Hanoi, Save the Children and many other organizations are showcasing our work supporting underprivileged children all over Vietnam.
