This is what Ms. Xia, a parent in Bat Xat district shared while participating in one among 177 communications events of Ring the Golden Bell on the topic of Child Protection and Child Abuse Prevention held in 59 kindergartens in 5 districts in Lao Cai province (Bat Xat, Bao Yen, Bao Thang, Muong Khuong and Van Ban). Save the Children collaborated with project schools to organize these events under as part of our Child-centered Community Development Program.

In recent years, the Neonatology Unit of the Department of Pediatrics has successfully treated many premature infants with severe diseases such as sepsis, meningitis, neonatal respiratory failure, inflammation, bowel necrosis, etc.
