On November 05, in cooperation with Quang Binh Department of Education and Training (Quang Binh DOET), Save the Children organized the launching workshop of “Safe back to school” project. There were around 30 participants attending the workshop, including representatives from Quang Binh DOET, Quang Binh People’s Committee, Department of Foreign Affairs, Bureau of Education and Training in Bo Trach and Quang Trach district, as well as teachers and school board of 12 project schools.

Yen Bai, 12 October 2021, Save the Children (SC) and Center for Sustainable Development of Mountainous Communities (SUDECOM) co-host a Talk Show called, “Joining hands to connect start-ups and jobs for ethnic minority youth in Tran Yen district, Yen Bai province”. The Talk Show is a key event of the project “Participate: Empowered CSOs and ethnic minority youth for active participation in decision making in Yen Bai, Vietnam” funded by European Union.

In Vietnam, ethnic minority children have been facing a consistently large gap in nutrition and education in comparison with the Kinh majority. Since 2016, Save the Children has contributed to raise public awareness and ensure that Every Last Child has access to quality health care, education and nutrition.
