On September 20, 2022, Save the Children cooperated with the Action to the Community Development Institute (ACDC), the Management and Sustainable Development Institute (MSD), and the Vietnam Association for Protection of Child’s Rights (VACR) to organize the kick-off workshop for the project "Increased accountability to eliminate violence and discrimination against children with disabilities” (AVAC) in Hanoi.

On August 29-31, 2022, under the project "Safe back to school", Save the Children and Quang Binh Department of Education and Training organized a training course for 24 core teachers on "Mental health and psychological support for students".

In August 2022, Save the Children and Quang Binh Department of Education and Training organized a series of activities to improve the capacity of teachers in 12 primary schools Quang Binh province on professional teacher meeting Literacy Boost Common Approach.   

On the morning of 28/08/2022, nearly 100 children with disabilities, parents, caregivers, representatives of associations/groups, special education centers, vocational and vocational training institutions for children with disabilities and associations of people with disabilities in some districts in Hanoi attended the communication event "Children’s Voice" at Thong Nhat Park, Hanoi.

Aiming at managing the current and future risks of and cultivating resilience for natural disasters, within the framework of the project "Comprehensive model for community resilience in Thua Thien Hue province", Save the Children and the province’s Standing Office of the Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control, Search and Rescuesupported the local authorities of Phu Dien and Phu Gia communes, Phu Vang district, in conducting the Community Based Disaster Risk Assessment.
