CHILD RIGHTS TRAINING FOR CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES (CWD) IN VIETNAM

“Participation helps children with disabilities be more confident in life,” said a 14-year-old girl with visual impairment who participated in a training on child rights co-organized by Save the Children in Vietnam and its partner ACDC in Da Nang on 24-25 September 2022.

On September 22, 2022, Save the Children in collaboration with the Center of Help for Indigenous value promotion And Sustainable Environment (CHIASE) and Ho Chi Minh City Child Welfare Association (HCWA) organized a workshop to launch the project entitled “Strengthening Civil Society Organization (CSO)’s responses to COVID-19 pandemic and support of vulnerable youth and children in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City”.

LAUNCHING THE PROJECT “INCREASED ACCOUNTABILITY TO ELIMINATE VIOLENCE AND DISCRIMINATION AGAINST CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES”

On September 20, 2022, Save the Children cooperated with the Action to the Community Development Institute (ACDC), the Management and Sustainable Development Institute (MSD), and the Vietnam Association for Protection of Child’s Rights (VACR) to organize the kick-off workshop for the project "Increased accountability to eliminate violence and discrimination against children with disabilities” (AVAC) in Hanoi.
