Since June 2022, the PEACE FOR ALL project launched by UNIQLO has cooperated with influencers from multiple areas to design T-shirts with meaningful messages to support peace efforts worldwide. The purpose of this project is to provide humanitarian aid to those affected by poverty, discrimination, violence, conflict and natural disasters, through development organizations including The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Save the Children, and Plan International.

Yen Bai, 12 October 2021, Save the Children (SC) and Center for Sustainable Development of Mountainous Communities (SUDECOM) co-host a Talk Show called, “Joining hands to connect start-ups and jobs for ethnic minority youth in Tran Yen district, Yen Bai province”. The Talk Show is a key event of the project “Participate: Empowered CSOs and ethnic minority youth for active participation in decision making in Yen Bai, Vietnam” funded by European Union.

After two and a half years of implementation, the project “Skill to Succeed” organized the closing workshop highlighting key achievements and sharing key models that can be adapted into vocational training system in Vietnam. Implemented in three southern provinces: Can Tho, Dong Nai and Da Nang, the project is working to equip 10,000 migrant youth at vocational schools and those who are working at industrial zones and factories with essential employability skills.

On October 1st, Save the Children launches 'Global Girlhood Report’, the report looks at exclusion through the lens of gender and suggests solutions for a more equal world. Given that COVID has swept away what could have been a pivotal year for girls, the development community needs to work together to ensure that it is one of the priorities of national Governments.
