Child rights contest for children with disabilities in Da Nang | Cuộc thi về quyền trẻ em dành cho trẻ em khuyết tật tại Đà Nẵng

A competition on child rights was organized for children with disabilities in Da Nang by Save the Children, Action to the Community Development Institute (ACDC) and the Da Nang Center for Inclusive Education Development Support.

'WRITE ABOUT THE GREEN PLANET' CONTEST

The contest “Write about the green planet” was launched by Save the Children in response to the global Generation Hope campaign on acting against climate change and inequality. The contest has received more than 100 applications from dozens of schools in project areas, sharing children's stories about climate change, inequality and calling on the community to join hands to protect the living environment for future generations.

‘WISH UPON A STAR” - VOICE OF CHILDREN IN ASIA ON CLIMATE CHANGE

Wish Upon A Star is a collection of short stories, messages, and artwork about the climate emergency from children in Asia aged 9-17. It aims to inform and inspire people of all ages to take action to protect children's rights to a safer and more sustainable future. This e-book was produced by the Red Alert campaign network, which is led by children and youth in Asia-Pacific and supported by Save the Children.

DIGITAL LITERACY FOR TEACHERS AND STUDENTS IN LAO CAI PROVINCE

After receiving financial and technical support to set up computer labs in 2021, children and teachers in disadvantaged areas in Bao Thang, Muong Khuong, Bat Xat and Van Ban districts continued to be supported to participate in training courses on digitalization in education.

CHILD RIGHTS TRAINING FOR CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES (CWD) IN VIETNAM

“Participation helps children with disabilities be more confident in life,” said a 14-year-old girl with visual impairment who participated in a training on child rights co-organized by Save the Children in Vietnam and its partner ACDC in Da Nang on 24-25 September 2022.
