 Mental health issues pose a significant challenge in modern society, especially for children and adolescents. According to UNICEF (2019), approximately 15% of children and adolescents aged 10–19 worldwide experience various mental disorders. Addressing mental health concerns during this stage is crucial to ensuring a healthy and positive life as they mature.

On August 22, representatives from Save the Children and the People's Committee of Quang Binh Province, together with the respective departments and agencies held a meeting to share information and discuss opportunities to develop a sustainable cooperation strategy between Save the Children and Quang Binh province.

On June 13-16, Save the Children, together with Ho Chi Minh City Child Welfare Association, District 8 and Binh Chanh Bureau of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs organized a series of training about child protection in emergencies for local child protection focal points who are the staff members of neighborhood/hamlets, women’s union in District 8 and Binh Chanh.
