Vietnam Training about child protection in emergencies in HCMC | Tập huấn “Bảo vệ trẻ em trong trường hợp khẩn cấp” tại Tp.HCM
On June 13-16, Save the Children, together with Ho Chi Minh City Child Welfare Association, District 8 and Binh Chanh Bureau of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs organized a series of training about child protection in emergencies for local child protection focal points who are the staff members of neighborhood/hamlets, women’s union in District 8 and Binh Chanh.
After 8 sessions, 248 child protection focal points were trained in child protection knowledge and skills, especially in emergency situations.
This activity is part of the project “Strengthening CSO’s responses to COVID-19 pandemic and support of vulnerable youth and children in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City”, implemented by Save the Children and local partners with funding supports from European Union.

Vào ngày 13-16/6, Tổ chức Cứu trợ Trẻ em cùng Hội Bảo vệ Trẻ em TP Hồ Chí Minh, Phòng Lao động Thương binh Xã hội quận 8 và huyện Bình Chánh tổ chức chuỗi tập huấn “Bảo vệ trẻ em trong trường hợp khẩn cấp” tại Quận 8 và Bình Chánh – TP.HCM dành cho cán bộ ban điều hành khu phố/ấp, chi hội phụ nữ, cộng tác viên.
Thông qua 8 lớp tập huấn, 248 cán bộ khu phố đã được nâng cao các kiến thức và kĩ năng về bảo vệ trẻ em trong trường hợp khẩn cấp.
Đây là hoạt động thuộc dự án “Hỗ trợ thanh niên và trẻ em trong ứng khó với COVID-19” do Tổ chức Cứu trợ Trẻ em và đối tác địa phương thực hiện với sự tài trợ của Liên minh Châu Âu (EU).
