Training for trainers in vocational schools
Save the Children provide a trainers training course for 15 teachers and officers from vocational schools to improve their training method for students.
At the four-day training, from 22 -25 September, participants learned how to prepare for their students to better apply for job and manage their independent life when they graduate. The training focused on how to approach companies for employment, socialization, job application and interview skills.
The training is part of Save the Children’s youth development programme – Skills to Success- to support poor and migrant young people in Da Nang and Can Tho find jobs and adapt to urban life.
The two-year programme, funded by Accenture, aims to provide vocational trainings and life skills for the young people, connect them with business for job opportunities and coaching on self employment
