LAUNCHING THE PROJECT “STRENGTHENING CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATION (CSO)’S RESPONSES TO COVID-19 PANDEMIC AND SUPPORT OF VULNERABLE YOUTH AND CHILDREN IN HANOI AND HO CHI MINH CITY”

On September 22, 2022, Save the Children in collaboration with the Center of Help for Indigenous value promotion And Sustainable Environment (CHIASE) and Ho Chi Minh City Child Welfare Association (HCWA) organized a workshop to launch the project entitled “Strengthening Civil Society Organization (CSO)’s responses to COVID-19 pandemic and support of vulnerable youth and children in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City”.

LAUNCHING THE PROJECT “INCREASED ACCOUNTABILITY TO ELIMINATE VIOLENCE AND DISCRIMINATION AGAINST CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES”

On September 20, 2022, Save the Children cooperated with the Action to the Community Development Institute (ACDC), the Management and Sustainable Development Institute (MSD), and the Vietnam Association for Protection of Child’s Rights (VACR) to organize the kick-off workshop for the project "Increased accountability to eliminate violence and discrimination against children with disabilities” (AVAC) in Hanoi.

On the morning of 28/08/2022, nearly 100 children with disabilities, parents, caregivers, representatives of associations/groups, special education centers, vocational and vocational training institutions for children with disabilities and associations of people with disabilities in some districts in Hanoi attended the communication event "Children’s Voice" at Thong Nhat Park, Hanoi.

Save the Children, YENBAI CDSH and Vietnam Youth Federation of Tran Yen district are continuing with another round of the Competition “Tran Yen youth create & contribute to socio-economic development”. This competition is part of the “Participate: Empowered CSOs and ethnic minority youth for active participation in decision making in Yen Bai, Vietnam” project funded by the European Union.
