We desire to save more pre-term birthed child

No one believed that the boy could recover. Miraculously, the boy overcame a difficult situation and recovered. When admitted, his weight was only 1,500 grams. When discharged, his weight was 2,300 grams.

4,000 children benefited from Save the Children’s pilot project

It is estimated that 4,000 ethnic minority children aged 3 to 6 years benefited from the pilot of Emergent Literacy and Math toolkit to build reading and math skills.

"Netsmart" booklet launching

Save the Children and the Embassy of Sweden launch “Netsmart” to help protect children and youth on the internet. 

In Vietnam, the Law on Children came into effect in June 2017 to reinforce the commitment that the Government of Vietnam has for the UNCRC since ratifying the convention in 1990.  Recognizing the benefits as well as the threats that have come with these digital technology developments, the Law on Children has a specific article (Article 54) on child protection on the internet.

Launching Stolen Childhoods: 2017 End of Childhood Report

Vietnamese children experience better childhoods than most of its neighbours, according to new report, but children from minority groups left behind

 Vietnam is 92nd in a global ranking of the best and worst countries for children to grow up, putting it ahead of neighbouring Cambodia, Laos and the Philippines, a new report from Save the Children reveals.

"Respect! My body!" Booklet Launching event

Hanoi, 23 May 2017 – Today, the “Repect! My body!” booklet for grown-ups on how to talk with children about body boundaries and sexual abuse was officially introduced in an event hosted by Trung Hoa Secondary School, Cau Giay District, Hanoi. The event is jointly organized by the Swedish Embassy, Save the Children in Vietnam and Vietnam Programme for Internet and Society.
